Our feet sink in wet mud, our ankles Surrounded by green tang Some waterlilies, some pond skaters Plenty of microorganisms, lots of life Underneath the muddy surface Beetles & fishes, flies & snails Proliferating Those plants grow Yielding that very something Like extensions from under the surface We stare at muddy waters Just as the nebulous waters, our feelings blur In a pond Yet we don’t know its depth We see it’s inner life Climbing up the surface Emotions arise like dizzy colors of a hidden life And findings swallowed by that very nature Our emotional life is leaking Now these muddy waters Are longing for amalgamation, as our feelings do Dipped into muddy waters We turn ourselves towards new feelings.
