From 21st November to 18th December Sonnenstube Off-space continues its itinerant appointments with Tarantula, a contemporary art exhibition at Villa Costanza that will see the participation of Jacopo Belloni, Beatrice Celli and Derek MF Di Fabio.
Tarantula is a collective exhibition that investigates the interweaving of popular culture, visual investigations and anthropology of contemporary art.
For Sonnenstube Di Fabio, Belloni and Celli - all three from southern Italy - have created an exhibition including installations, sculptures and sound works.
The works of the three artists are made with different practices and mediums but in strong resonance with each other and refer to craft techniques and knowledge such as embroidery, painting on ceramics and cast iron casting.
On display in the rooms two disused rooms overlooking the garden of Villa Costanza create an ambiguous relationship with the architecture of the building, with the domestic and urban objects
